What if your bank actually gave something back? That simple idea sits at the core of this social campaign created for River, a financial platform that combines traditional banking features with Bitcoin investing and wealth-building tools.
Designed for social media, the goal of the video was not just to explain the product, but to create an emotional reaction by highlighting the contrast between traditional banks generating massive profits and the very limited benefits returned to their customers.
This was a fully in-house production for us, from the first writing sessions to the final render.

Together with the client, we developed the script and narrative structure before moving into storyboard, visual development, animation, image research, and sound design. The whole design phase was created in Figma before being animated in Adobe After Effects. Because the video had to work within a short social media format, every second mattered.
The challenge was finding the right balance between information, emotion, and pacing—making the message clear without feeling overly corporate or overly aggressive.

What made this project particularly interesting for us was its tone. Rather than relying purely on product features, the video leans into a more emotional and editorial angle, using comparison and storytelling to build tension before introducing River as an alternative. That meant paying special attention to rhythm, typography, music, and transitions in order to support the narrative progression and keep the audience engaged throughout the full minute.

One of the most rewarding parts of the project came after delivery, through the feedback we received from the team at River.
“This was our best video to date, we are very happy with it.”
“Complement belongs in the conversation with the best creative studios out there.”
“The team is genuinely talented, and they refuse to stop iterating until every detail is right.”
As freelancers and small studio owners, hearing this kind of feedback—especially from a direct international client—means a lot to us.

The result is a one-minute motion piece designed for social media, blending financial messaging with a more emotional and narrative-driven approach.
But beyond the final video itself, this project also represents an important step for our studio: building direct relationships with international clients and handling larger productions entirely on our own, from concept to delivery.
