After a first collaboration with Bokeh on a previous project for CoinTracker, we teamed up again—this time to bring to life a new video focused on their Enterprise offering.
CoinTracker is a platform that helps individuals and businesses track their crypto transactions and handle tax reporting. With new IRS regulations coming into effect, the need for clear, reliable tools has become even more critical—especially for companies dealing with large volumes of transactions.
The goal of this video was to explain all of this… simply.
The storyboard and styleframes, created by Lankai Lamptey, were already setting a strong direction. Our role was to translate that into motion—without adding noise, but by reinforcing clarity.
We focused on making each transition feel purposeful and easy to follow, especially when moving between different concepts or steps in the process. Particular attention was given to pacing and readability, making sure each idea had the space to land without slowing down the overall rhythm.
This project was also an opportunity for us to bring Cavalry into our workflow, alongside Adobe After Effects—using it to build more flexible and dynamic animation systems where needed.
One of the main challenges was to represent things that don’t really have a physical form: transactions, data flows, tax reporting…
The whole team approached this through simple visual systems and clear compositions, using motion to connect ideas and create a sense of logic. The goal wasn’t to explain everything in detail, but to make the whole feel intuitive.
Working again with Bokeh made the process seamless. With a clear creative base and efficient feedback loops, we could focus on what really mattered: crafting an animation that supports the message without overcomplicating it.
The result is a short explainer designed for web and social, helping CoinTracker introduce its Enterprise solution and navigate a complex regulatory context.
A project where motion design plays its role at its best: not just making things look good—but making them easier to understand.
